Matt Conway

Matt Conway has played
the piano since age 6. He was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois
and credits the diverse community as a major creative influence
on his life and music. After winning the Louis Armstrong Jazz
award as a teenager, Matt went on to enroll and perform in the
jazz programs at both Northwestern and Depaul Universities.
Along the way, he had the pleasure of receiving expert instruction
from the likes of Max Roach, Danillo Perez, Jeremy Kahn and Mike
Kocour, among others. Matt received a BA in business from Depaul,
and now plays and teaches piano in the Chicago area. |
